Snow Day

I love snow days!!! There is just something about being stuck at home when its snowing outside. Of course, snow days are no fun without being stuck at home with friends and loved ones, but when you've got a crew, there is nothing better.

To me, there is something about the solitude of a snow day that reminds me of God and the peace He gives us. I loved walking around at my parent's house in the snow because it was just white silence... Our lives are like the ground without snow- with so many different colors and textures. It is in the snow covered ground that we find God and the peace He gives us. It is up to us to look for that peace and rest in the solice it provides.
