A Window into My LIfe

Bellevue

Please pray for our pastor, Dr. Steve Gaines and the trouble that has been brewing at our church. For those of you who know a little, please know that the voices of those who oppose Dr. Gaines as our pastor are loud but few. Those voices of those that support Dr. Gaines are louder and many. Dr. Gaines is a godly man. Pray that truth will prevail and that the few will take Dr. Adrian Rogers off the pedestal they have placed him on and realize that we are all human.

Resolutions

I have been such a bad blogger, that I solemnly promise to blog at least once a week during 2007. I am not the best writer in the world, but blogging is so therapeutic.

Christmas Memories

The weekend before Christmas, I went to go see two girls that I have befriended since I moved back to Memphis. They are 4 & 6 and are so much fun to hang out with. When I pulled up at their house M & M ran up to me with an angel costume and a Mary costume. It was warm outside and they had been putting on a play with Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus (in a Tupperware bowl) and two angels. I went over and watched their play and it was so cute!!!

It made me remember all the Christmas plays that my sister and I would put on each year at the Brasher household. We would practice for at least a week ahead of time. Sometimes out brother, J, would participate but he usually ended up doing the spotlights (aka reading lamps) for the play. We had so much fun working on the plays!!!

Ahh, the memories.
