Israel

With the sudden, massive stroke of Israel's Prime Minister, Sharon, the question facing our world is what will happen to the Israel's leadership? Sharon has been a long time friend of the United States. If he dies, will the new Prime Minister maintain such a close relationship with the US and other countries? Will improved relations with Palenstine come to a halt? Does this emminent change bring us one more step closer to Christ's return?

We live in interesting times...Only One knows what the future holds.

I really like Ehud Olmert, the acting prime minister. He leans right also and is expected to maintain office after the elections.

On a side note, the other night I heard a journalist ask an Israeli general how far he was willing to go to eliminate Iran's nuclear threat. He said, "2,000 kilometers" -- or about the distance from Jerusalem to Tehran.

I have been perplexed by this development too Betsy. It seems that all the pieces are coming closer together to create the scene of Christ's return. Who will control Israel in '06 and will they be the person to led us closer to what we all have read and studied about for so long...the rapture and the great tribulation. Things are surely changing quickly. The weather is another prophetic warning that time is short on the earth. Soon, we shall behold Him! Hallelujah!
